Very tasty wheat beer and solid Bavarian dishes. The location and its own brewery are particularly special here. Even if sweet dishes don't often inspire me, I'm always available for the Kaiserschmarrn here! Absolutely great!

Very nice location with easy parking and a perfect S-Bahn connection. The wheat beer brewed directly in the brewery is extremely good! The service is attentive and the food is very good. The prices are reasonable.

Great adaptions to the current times. The Corona winter garden with awesome heaters is comfortable but pretty too. Warm in a cold night and safe fresh air. And as always, the home brewed Weizen is delicious.

The bartender is awesome. The kitchen and the service is excellent. You feel here just at ease. Since I've been here for years einkehre is a piece of home for me become.

The Weiss Beer they make here is brilliant. The range of options on the menu is excellent, and I always find something good as a vegetarian.

Every time very tasty food, friendly wait staff, great atmosphere - both inside and outside. Unfortunately, since the Corona period, the menu has obviously been shortened. I would be happy if the delicious tarte flambée would be served again! 😊

Great Oktoberfest beer, terrible service! A place in the sun, a drinkable beer, what more could you want? Service! Absolutely inattentive and self-absorbed. There are 3 stars for the great beer and the deliciously dressed tartare. Meat was a very neglected ingredient in boiled beef aspic.

The ambience is really very appealing, cozy and just nice. The beer tastes really good. The food definitely can't keep up. We had the feeling that the food was ready forever in the pot ... and was warmed up several times in the pan. Too bad.

An ideal meeting place because it is easy to find and reach. S7 stop and parking lot in front of the restaurant. Sun until evening 😀 and good menu! Very courteous service and reservation is also easy.

The food was delicious. Quality prices more than reasonable. Huge portions, almost too huge. I prefer less. It's also great that the meat comes from straw pigs. Happy pigs taste delicious. Service just perfect. Kind and attentive.

Atmosphere is cozy. It's a mix of classic Bavarian with a touch of modern architecture. Personell is friendly, take their time for you and are very polite, but still casual. Food is okay, yet I can only speak for the salads. I had one with crusty chicken where the chicken was a bit dry and the salad was nothing special. Drinks are good. Huge selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The inhouse-brewed beer is very delicious. Prices are higher than the Munich average, but I guess that is due to located near Grünwald. Location is great, next to the S-Bahn station and plenty of parking spaces available, in case you arrive by car. In overall, I will go again but only because it's convenient from a location perspective, because the waiters are nice and because the beer is good.

Do not go there. I was there with international colleagues and all was a catastrophe. After not getting served after 1.5 hours I personally went into the kitchens and told them what we ordered. There are good restaurants in the and this is NOT one of them.

Our dinner started great- beautiful restaurant, waiter was fast and friendly, beer and appetizer were good. For dinner, my husband ordered a hamburger (delicious!), and I got the meatballs with potato salad. The salad was great, but the meatballs were very, very salty. I asked the waiter if they could be made again, and he became unprofessional. He began making "no" motions with his hands, and with increasing volume, repeatedly stated that it "Wasn't possible" for the meat to be too salty because HE thought they tasted perfect when he tried them previously. I stated that the meatballs were inedible, and I would like new ones made. Very loudly and using wild gestures, the waiter again insisted the food was perfect. I have no idea why he thought his previous meal would have any bearing on my plate of food. There were only 2 other occupied tables. The waiter came to both of them multiple times afterwards, but wouldn't come back to us. We would have ordered more beer. When we paid, he made a point to tell me again that the food was delicious and suited his tastes perfectly, and I was wrong. He was also annoyed that I didnt want the salty food wrapped up for takeaway. He was clearly putting on a show, making exaggerated facial expressions and hand gestures. Will not recommend or go back.

This has been one of my favorite places for an original Weiß Bier every year for 20 years, but on this trip I was disappointed. Bier was not as good, nothing special, service was OK, had to sit outside back side near the train track (loud) some dishes were good in our group, some were not. All in all, I've marked it OFF my list of must do's in Munich! 😢

Cozy restaurant a little outside of the Munich central area. It belongs to the Isartaler brewery, which specializes mostly in Weißbier. The food is above the average Bavarian you could find close to the city center of Munich. The staff is nice and polite! It is not cheap but totally worth it. Pay attention: the prices on the menu are without tax (VAT). Also, they do not accept credit cards.

Great neighborhood restaurant & pub offering freshly brewed beers and tasty choices of Bavarian fare. Prices seem to be on the high side, but the atmosphere is great, especially during the summer months when outside seating in the small park like setting in front of the restaurant.

Very cool environment, relaxed and friendly. Some of the staff speaks English and the menus are also in English. Good beer and good food, little on the pricey side though.
